What is your most rewarding accomplishment as a finance executive?
Working side by side with the talented professionals at Franklin Street to accomplish our mission of expanding our market penetration while maintaining our culture and values.
How did you discover your passion for finance?
As a young boy, I was always fascinated by numbers, particularly baseball statistics that appeared on the back of baseball cards. I would analyze player A’s performance vs. Player B’s performance and such until I figured out who the better player was in which year. As I grew older, I realized that I wanted to be involved in the sport of business and was drawn to the financial side of things quickly. Once I had my first consulting/accounting job, I was hooked!
What is one piece of information you wish someone had told you when you first started your finance career?
Be more vulnerable – it allows you to ask better questions, hire people that are smarter than you and get more things done. You don’t always have to be the smartest, strongest or loudest person in the room to accomplish great things.
What job would you pursue if you weren’t in finance?

What are some of your personal hobbies outside of finance?
I have two sons who take up most of my time and money, but I love watching them perform and compete. In my free time I enjoy beating my youngest son in a game of golf, although my time may be coming!
