Christine Walsh

Christine Walsh is an HR executive who is passionate about people and performance.  She brings a track record of helping global organizations and leaders grow, transform and achieve great results.  Christine is particularly interested in complex business environments involving mergers and acquisitions, leadership transitions and reorganizations.

Currently VP of Global Talent at American Express Global Business Travel, she is responsible for the full scope of talent for its 20,000+ global employees.  This includes Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, Learning and Leadership Development, and Diversity and Inclusion.  Amex GBT went public earlier this year and Christine leads its strategy to develop, engage and measure talent.  

Prior to this role, Christine was the VP of Talent for GOJO, maker of Purell, during the Covid pandemic and VP of Talent and Performance at Nielsen as it spun off its consumer business.  Previously, she supported global teams in HR leadership roles at American Express and General Electric.  Christine began her professional career by completing GE’s HR leadership development program.  

Christine holds a Master’s degree in Human Resources from the University of Illinois.  She received the First Decade Achievement award in 2013 for “extraordinary impact to the field of HR.”  Her Bachelor’s Degree is in Business Administration from Western Michigan University, where she received the Outstanding Alumni Award in 2018.
