Steve Frantz

Steve Frantz joined Mutual of Omaha Bank in October of 2018 as the Managing Director of Private Wealth Group Investment Services.  In this role he is responsible for the investment management, product research, strategic positioning, and brand of the wealth management division.  
 
Prior to joining Mutual of Omaha Bank, he was the Chairman of the Board and President of the Tributary Mutual Fund Family, and President of Tributary Capital Management LLC.  In this role, he developed and executed a strategy focused on the now nationally acclaimed Tributary Small Company Fund.  He grew the flagship Small Cap Strategy from $65 million to over $1 billion in four years. In his role as Chairman and President of the Tributary Funds Family, Steve reengineered, rebranded and expanded the assets of the fund family from $330 million in 2008 to over $2 billion.
 
Prior to Tributary Capital, he was the Chief Investment Officer for First National Bank of Omaha’s $10 billion trust and wealth management platform.  Steve was a positive change agent, divesting the firm of legacy proprietary products, and building an open architecture platform that became the basis for the Tributary Mutual Fund Family.  Before taking on the role of Chief Investment Officer, Steve served in several other executive roles with many well-known and respected investment firms; including PIMCO Advisers in Newport Beach, CA, Waddell & Reed in Kansas City, MO, Lazard London International in London, England, and Smith Barney in Omaha, NE.
 
Frantz earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Nebraska-Omaha.
