FEI Tampa Bay Members, Sponsors and Friends,
2020 has certainly not been the year that we expected it to be, and as we get closer to 2021, the board and I continue to be grateful for the support and patience of the Tampa Bay Chapter as we adapt to this new reality.
Unfortunately, the December Holiday Social has been cancelled due to a lack of confirmed counts. Very disappointing as this has historically been such a popular event for our members, sponsors and guests.
However, we are currently reviewing our Q1 plans for potential in-person meetings at an outdoor venue, possibly at the end of the quarter. We will keep you updated as that information becomes available.
Until that time, we are continuing to provide virtual programming and have an exciting upcoming event on November 11. Nationally recognized political analyst and retired USF professor Dr. Susan MacManus will provide the chapter with her post-election insights, addressing the voting turnout patterns, key events that influenced the outcome (if we have clarity at that time) and anything left unsettled. If you have not already registered for this complimentary webinar, I encourage you to do so
here.
FEI is also continuing to provide great digital programs, like the recent Summit that a number of our chapter members were able to attend. If you’re interested in joining future events with opportunities for networking and CPE like the Summit, visit the main
FEI Events webpage.
Thank you again for your patience, and I am looking forward to the day when it is safe to come together again.
Sincerely,
Joanne Dempster
Chapter President
