Get to know your SDFEI incoming President, Dan Reynolds!
Dan has been a member of FEI for over 26 years, originally joining the FEI Fort Worth Chapter, where he served in numerous leadership roles including Chapter President for 1999-2000. He moved to Southern California in 2020 and found a new community in San Diego!
Dan is a veteran finance and accounting executive with proven technical, people, communication and organizational skills. He is currently the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Jerome’s Furniture, based in San Diego. He joined the company during the COVID-19 pandemic to help stabilize its finances and reopen its retail stores after a government-mandated shutdown. Prior to Jerome’s, Dan was the Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Calloway’s Nursery, Inc., a publicly-owned chain of retail garden centers based in Fort Worth, TX.
He was recognized as the 2018 CFO of the Year for the lower middle market category by the Dallas Business Journal, which cited his management, innovation and collaboration skills. He was also named 2015 Outstanding Public Company CFO by the Fort Worth Business Press, having demonstrated long-term leadership skills, managerial capabilities and technical prowess.
