San Antonio’s Future in MLB Affiliated Pro Baseball and the Pursuit of a Placemaking Ballpark
Since 1888, professional baseball has been a staple of life in San Antonio, with notable players, including 10 Hall of Famers, and countless cherished memories. In 2022, local ownership returned for the first time since the mid-80’s when Designated Bidders, LLC acquired the Missions. Facing the need for a new stadium due to MLB standards, the Missions’ ownership group is committed to finding a new home and keeping professional baseball in San Antonio for generations to come. Join Bruce Hill and Bob Cohen as they discuss the team's history, business aspects, and the future of baseball in the city.
