Jennifer Smith is currently the Controller at Marino PR. She joined the agency in 2017 and is the point person for Marino’s finance function. She oversees initiatives to enhance the accuracy and efficient dissemination of financial information at Marino and plays a key role in Marino’s continued growth. Prior to her arrival at Marino, Jen worked for Friedman LLP for 11 years. She began her career with the firm as a staff associate in the audit department and worked her way up to senior manager. During her tenure there, she primarily serviced middle market privately held companies in industries such as apparel, diamond/jewelry, consumer products, and retail.

 

Jen’s activities outside office hours demonstrate the priority she places on ongoing professional development and community service. She is a member and on the board of the professional women’s network WHOW of NY, Inc, which is a vibrant network of professional women dedicated to fostering growth and success in both work and life by conducting fundraising efforts through dynamic networking events that support organizations aiding women and children in hardship, while also providing an engaging platform for professional women to share knowledge, build relationships, and collaborate. WHOW’s mission is to empower women by creating opportunities for connection, collaboration, and support and promote economic independence, provide career development tools, and offer a strong professional support network for women striving to achieve their goals. Jen is currently a member of FEI NYC, the local chapter of FEI, which is an organization dedicated to advancing the careers and influence of financial leaders through professional growth and networking opportunities. Jen is a past member of the board of the nonprofit Contemporary Credit Club, which promotes networking and the exchange of ideas and expertise in support of its goal of advancing the commercial lending industry.

Dorothy Montgomery, Chief Financial Officer, Zwilling J.A. Henckels, LLC

Dorothy Montgomery is a distinguished Finance and Operations Executive with over 25 years of experience spanning public, private, and private equity-backed entities in diverse sectors including Retail, Wholesale, E-Commerce manufacturing and distribution, and Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG). Her career is marked by a robust control environment mindset developed through roles in Public Accounting (Audit) and as a Controller in public companies.

 

Prior to her role as Chief Financial Officer at Zwilling, Dorothy held key positions at well-known organizations including Arthur Andersen, Movado Group, Polo Ralph Lauren, Ermenegildo Zegna, Godiva, and Tumi. At Zwilling, she oversees not only Finance but also Information Technology and Operations. She is a collaborative business partner known for her expertise in strategic planning and execution, budgeting and forecasting, financial operations management, and cross-functional team leadership. Dorothy excels in mentoring teams, delivering impactful investor presentations, and leading successful system implementations. Her proactive approach to cash management, coupled with a track record in implementing cost reduction initiatives and driving profit improvements, consistently enhances organizational

performance.

 

Dorothy thrives in dynamic, fast-paced environments where she collaborates with cross-functional teams to optimize operations and accelerate growth across North American and Global markets. She has successfully led entities from start-ups through various growth stages to managing divisions of multi-billion-dollar global organizations.

 

Dorothy earned her undergraduate degree in Accounting and MBA in International Finance and Marketing from Montclair State University. She has been actively involved in the financial community, serving on the Board of Financial Executives International New Jersey with a focus on Women's initiatives and membership development.

 

Outside of her professional achievements, Dorothy is involved in local charities, particularly those supporting autism and cystic fibrosis. She cherishes spending time with her family and young granddaughters, and enjoys pursuing her passions for golf, continuous learning and maintaining a healthy lifestyle through fitness.
