Join a Thriving Company as a Member of the Senior Leadership Team: Vice President of Accounting
Regency Recruiting is actively seeking a Vice President of Accounting to lead and guide our clients’ accounting functions and systems. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), the VP of Accounting will play a critical role in managing the accounting team, ensuring financial accuracy, and contributing to the strategic financial planning of the organization.
Your Impact:
- Team Leadership & Development: Build, lead, and manage a team of accounting professionals. Your ability to understand, prioritize, and delegate tasks effectively will ensure the seamless operation of the accounting department, aligning with our clients’ strategic goals.
- Financial Management: Oversee month-end close processes, prepare budgets and projections, analyze income and expenditures, and manage accruals and reserves.
- Operational Excellence: Establish and maintain financial processes and procedures, manage inventory controls, and oversee corporate allocations. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring operational efficiencies and financial health across all departments.
- Risk Management and Compliance: Proactively manage cost structures, determine policies for costing and allocation of burden, and prepare reports for internal/external auditors and governmental agencies.
- Strategic Contributions: Assist with financial evaluations and integrations of acquisitions, and work on special projects as determined by the CFO and CEO.
What We're Looking For:
- Professional Expertise: A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required, with a CPA designation strongly preferred. Significant cost accounting experience and a minimum of 7 years of manufacturing accounting experience are preferred.
- Leadership Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build, manage, and motivate teams. Your strategic thinking and problem-solving skills will be key to your success.
- Analytical Prowess: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a thorough understanding of economic and accounting principles.

Working Conditions:
This role is office-based, primarily involving sitting and frequent interactions with staff, senior leadership, and external stakeholders such as auditors and government agencies.
