FEI board members Linda Zukauckas (American Express) and Loren Mahon (Oracle) are among the speakers headlining Oracle’s Modern Finance Experience, a new conference dedicated to helping CFOs and finance executives explore the new rules for 21st Century Finance. The conference takes place April 6-7, 2016 at the Renaissance Hotel in downtown Chicago, and is filled with interactive workshops and customer-led sessions on finance and technology strategies that FEI members can take advantage of at discounted rates.
Some of the highlights of the two-day conference include:
- Breaking the Finance Glass Ceiling, a special Women in Finance networking luncheon on April 6, hosted by Oracle CEO and head of finance Safra Catz. Safra, American Express EVP and Corporate Controller Linda Zukauckas, Uber Controller Karen Walker, and Oracle Finance VP Loren Mahon will all share their career journeys and efforts to promote greater diversity in finance.
- 21st Century Corporation: The New Rules for the Digital Economy, featuring Fortune Magazine Senior editor Geoff Colvin, Oracle CEO Safra Catz, GE Finance CIO James Richards, and City of Detroit CFO John Hill sharing their leadership and transformation strategies on April 7.
- Vision 2025: Digital Transformation in the Cloud, featuring Oracle CEO Mark Hurd and celebrated author Michael Lewis (The Big Short, Moneyball, Liar’s Poker) on April 6, talking about the role of predictive analytics in business, sports and politics.
On April 7, FEI members can also attend two dedicated tracks on business and technology strategy led by finance practitioners and Oracle senior finance executives.
The Future of Finance will explore best practices for M&A, business partnering using digital KPIs, finance excellence, and next-generation reporting.
