Laura Ballard is currently the Director of ESG Accounting at Constellation, where she is responsible for the adoption of ESG-related SEC rules, including the related systems implementations in preparation for the new rules. Prior to her current role, Laura held various positions in Controllers and Financial Planning & Analysis at Constellation (previously Exelon) over the past 16 years. Her background includes extensive experience in technical accounting matters and the implementation of accounting standards, including serving as the Exelon and EEI lead on the implementation of the new revenue recognition standard. Before joining Constellation, Laura was a Senior Auditor with Ernst & Young. Laura is a licensed CPA and FSA Credential-holder. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Gettysburg College and a master’s degree in Accounting from University of Virginia.
