Lance Woodworth, President & CEO, of Destination Toledo Convention and Visitors Bureau, brings over 20 years of experience in the Travel & Tourism industry to the Destination Toledo team. Lance serves on the Board of Directors for the Ohio Travel Association, the Ohio Society of Association Professionals, the Ohio Association of Convention and Visitors Bureaus and the Toledo Alliance for the Performing Arts. Prior to joining Destination Toledo in 2018, Lance served as Chairman of the Board for the Lake Erie Shores & Islands in Sandusky, and was General Manager for the Jet Express ferry boat line in Put-in-Bay. Lance continues to maintain his 200 ton commercial boat captain’s license and enjoys spending time boating on Lake Erie with his wife Melissa and 4 young children. A graduate of Bowling Green State University, Lance was born and raised in Northwest Ohio, and is one of our region’s biggest advocates.
