Jon is a Partner in the Grant Thornton Tax Reporting and Advisory (“T-RA”) practice with over 17 years of experience, and primarily serves clients in the Midwest.
Jon’s areas of specialization include providing tax services for multi-national corporations, including private equity backed corporations; ASC 740 audit support and internal controls; tax provision preparation; tax compliance engagements; and advising on the purchase accounting treatment of mergers and acquisitions. He works extensively with major privately held corporations and advises his clients on acquistion and divestiture strategies, tax planning and solutions, and IRS proceedings.
