Steve is the Chief Investment Officer and Chief Compliance Officer for Private Wealth Advisors. He is responsible for the strategy, construction and performance of client portfolios and trusts.
With over 30 years of portfolio management experience, Steve joined Texas Capital Bank from Communities Foundation of Texas where he managed investments and helped to raise the Foundation’s performance to among the highest in their peer groups of universities and foundations. Prior to Communities, he successfully ran insurance and arbitrage portfolios for Associates First Capital totaling $4 billion and insurance and bond mutual fund portfolios at Caterpillar, Inc. He has winning track records in every asset class in which he has invested. Steve earned his Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a minor in Math from the University of Texas at Austin, a Masters in Business from Texas State and a Juris Doctorate from St. Mary’s School of Law. He is an attorney, CFA® and CMT® charter holder. He serves on the Parkland Hospital Pension Investment Committee and the Dallas Jewish Community Foundation Investment Committee.
