Alex Chua serves as the current FEI Austin VP of Programs. He is a Senior Manager at Recurrent Energy on the Project Financing and FP&A team. Previously, he held various roles across finance and accounting at Halliburton and Ecolab as well as some time at private companies. Alex began his career at Anadarko Petroleum as a rotational accountant gaining exposure to many aspects of finance and accounting.
Alex earned a BBA/MPA in accounting from The University of Texas at Austin. He earned an MBA from Rice University. He holds a CPA in the state of Texas.
Previously, Alex served on the board of the Citizens’ Environmental Coalition in Houston. He became passionate about chess in his youth, becoming a chess master at a young age and winning many tournaments including Texas High School and Texas Collegiate Championships.
