Ted Archer

Ted is an Executive Director at JPMorgan Chase & Co, a leading global financial services firm with assets of $3.7 trillion and operations worldwide. The Firm is a leader in investment banking, financial services for consumers and small businesses, commercial banking, financial transaction processing, and asset management.

Ted joined JPMorgan Chase & Co. in 2016 and serves as Global Head of Business Partner Diversity where he directs the firm’s diverse supplier development and supply chain diversity, equity and inclusion portfolio, a critical component of JPMC’s $30 Billion Racial Equity Commitment. Prior to his current role, he served as Head of Small Business, Global Philanthropy and led Small Business Forward, the firm’s global initiative investing $50 million annually to connect small businesses with growth resources. He brings 20 years of international experience building initiatives that drive inclusive economic growth — with an emphasis on underserved businesses.

Prior to JPMorgan Chase, Ted led Small Business initiatives at SourceAmerica, HJ Heinz, consulted with the World Bank Group, and was Chief of Staff at the Washington, D.C. Department of Small & Local Business Development.

Ted earned his bachelor’s degree from the Williams School of Commerce, Economics, and Politics at Washington and Lee University and a Master of Public Administration from the Graduate School of Public and International Affairs at the University of Pittsburgh.
