Mr. Paul J. Hoback, Jr.

Paul L. Hoback Jr. is Chief Development Officer for the Allegheny County Airport Authority. In this role, Paul is responsible for Pittsburgh International Airport’s $1.4 billion Terminal Modernization Program, as well as leadership, oversight and strategic direction for all capital development projects.

On a day-to-day basis, Paul oversees the Engineering and Construction, Planning, Environmental and Workplace Safety Departments within the Airport Authority, where he has advanced regional initiatives including the Neighborhood 91 additive manufacturing campus and expansion of airport cargo facilities.

Paul has a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and a master’s degree in Business Administration from Geneva College. He has been with the Airport Authority for 21 years, serving in numerous capacities from Engineering Project Manager to Senior Vice President of Facilities, Engineering and Maintenance.  

Paul also serves on aviation and construction industry committees and is a Certified Member of the American Association of Airport Executives. He is an active community leader in Vanport Township, Beaver County (PA), where he resides with his wife Amy and son Canon.
