Mahesh is a proven change agent with global, multi-cultural experience, and a focus on driving leadership alignment at the executive and board level. He returned to New York in 2021 after a long stint in India with RGP. With M&A, corporate finance, change management, ESG, and digital transformation experience, he is an advisor and strategic leader. Aspects of Mahesh’s career:
- Fortune 100/1000 companies, turnarounds, and startups in CFO, COO, MD/CEO and Board positions.
- Until recently (July 2022) served as Independent Director on the Board of YES Bank, India’s fourth largest private bank. Helped turnaround the bank from the brink of collapse within two years, and drove key ESG initiatives as a member of the board ESG committee; Senior Advisor on ESG & International Operations at Vaco LLC ; Advisor to BuzzOnEarth (online social impact & ESG hub); Limited Partner at Arka Venture Labs (VC Fund), and mentor and advisor on enterprise strategies, including impact/ESG drivers.
- At RGP (NASDAQ listed consultancy) served as global C-Suite leader on business expansion across MNCs in India, Asia, UAE, and US. Drove the business based on fundamental ESG principles and initiatives, including strong internal governance, employee engagement, and risk/reputation/brand management.
Raised in Thailand and Switzerland (through high school) with a United Nations upbringing, Mahesh next studied in the UK and US (BSc, London School of Economics; MBA, NYU Stern School of Business, and management programs at the Wharton School, and MIT, Sloan School). He speaks English, French, multiple Indian languages, with latency in Thai. Mahesh enjoys trekking and tennis, and believes in maintaining physical fitness as a competitive edge. He successfully summited Mount Fuji on July 4, 2019.
