As co-founder and Wine Director for Harvest Restaurants, Cheryl Grabowski’s travels have taken her all over the world. But New Jersey is the place she calls home, specifically the restaurants of Harvest. Although her three children with Chip are directly involved in all aspects of the business, Cheryl considers Harvest’s 1000+ employees to be members of her family, as well.
Cheryl & Chip built Harvest around a set of core values that support the wellbeing of their staff and communities. Employees enjoy a culture in which people truly care about each other, resulting in a high level of pride, respect and enthusiasm in everything they do.
Giving back to the community is something that Cheryl feels very strongly about. Harvest partners with the Community Food Bank of New Jersey every year on many events throughout the state. In addition to the Food Bank, Harvest also donates thousands of dollars to local charities, supporting its neighbors and friends who are most in need.
Cheryl is incredibly grateful for the support that Harvest’s local communities have shown her and her family since the opening of their first restaurant in 1996, but she is especially thankful for their support during the past 18 months.
