As founder and CEO of Harvest Restaurant Group, Chester (Chip) Grabowski was exposed to the hospitality business early on. Chip’s parents owned and operated several venerable restaurant/bars and hotel businesses in Northern NJ, making hospitality second nature to Chip.
Chip developed a penchant for hockey at an early age and progressed his way into an NHL training camp. Hockey helped hone his discipline, attention to detail, team player skills and competitive streak. And while all of these traits have served him well in his professional life, it was someone he met at Plattsburgh that would change his life forever.
Chip and his future wife and business partner Cheryl have built a restaurant company that now includes a catering business and 14 thriving restaurants throughout New Jersey. One of their greatest joys comes from seeing their children now involved in the family business, the fourth generation of Grabowskis in the hospitality industry.
