Matthew Rickert is the Market Executive for the NJ Middle Market Banking & Specialized Industries (“MMBSI”) where he leads a team of bankers building strategic relationships with New Jersey based Middle Market companies, delivering a full range of J.P. Morgan Chase Bank, N.A. (“JPMC”) capabilities. Previously, Matt was the Credit Risk Director for NJ MMBSI. Matthew has worked for JPMC since 2011, where he originally joined the firm’s ABL group as a senior underwriter. As part of MMBSI, Matt & his team lead complex client relationships that include thoughtful credit & treasury structures, access to capital markets, investment banking services, rates & FX management as well as retirement plan services. MMBSI’s customers include manufacturers, service companies, food and beverage distributors, and various other companies.
Matt began his banking career as an officer development trainee at HSBC Bank USA, N.A. after earning his Bachelor of Arts in history and economics from The Pennsylvania State University. He also received his Master’s of Business Administration in finance & investments from The Bernard M. Baruch College of the City University of New York.
