As the country emerges from the COVID-19 pandemic and the impact of federal relief and economic stimulus spreads through the economy, and Congress and the Biden Administration consider significant changes to the tax code, private companies face challenges that should be addressed by policymakers in Washington, DC to enable them to recover, grow and compete with their C-corporation counterparts.
FEI's Washington Virtual Fly-in allows FEI private company members and leaders to communicate those challenges and recommend solutions to key players on Capitol Hill in a series of virtual meetings. The annual Washington Fly-in is a critical component of FEI’s advocacy efforts on behalf of the private company community and all private company members are encouraged to participate.
Over two days, virtual meetings of 15-20 minutes will be held between attendees the opportunity to express their views on critical public policy issues of concern to private companies with members of the House, Senate, and their staff.
Registrants will receive a schedule of the meetings in advance and can choose which to attend. To view the current confirmed schedule, click here. Zoom log-in information and a briefing prior to the event will be provided to all participants along with a copy of the FEI Committee on Private Companies (CPC) background paper on private company advocacy priorities for 2022.
