Is Your Accounting and Finance Function as Efficient as Your Peers?

Sponsored by Robert Half

Applying benchmarks and standards help financial executives learn more about how peer organizations use resources.

Financial departments of all sizes face ongoing resource challenges in terms of having the people, knowledge, technological capabilities and funding to meet the ever-expanding regulatory requirements and internal requests that come through finance.

Benchmarking is especially important as the accounting and finance function continues to evolve from a transaction oriented business function to a value-added information source and business partner to the rest of the organization.

Amid these growing demands, it’s not easy for financial executives to make time for benchmarking their accounting and finance operations. Yet they must do so to keep their organizations moving forward. Benchmarking encourages reflection and comparison. The information can be used to gain critical insight, validate practices, initiate change and point the way toward more efficient, effective and innovative practices.

The Benchmarking the Accounting & Finance Function 2015 report continues to give senior-level financial executives a major strategic advantage. Through benchmarking against their peers, the report helps financial executives gauge how their company’s financial management and operations compare with those of other organizations. The 2015 report included responses from nearly 1,400 American and Canadian financial executives representing public and private companies of all sizes, industries and sectors.

Now, Financial Executives Research Foundation (FERF), in collaboration with Robert Half, has launched the 7th annual Benchmarking the Accounting & Finance Function Survey. Your company’s participation in this important survey will provide valuable data for fellow FEI members, regulators and the press, and document current trends in finance.

The survey should take less than 15 minutes to complete.  We ask for your e-mail address to avoid compiling duplicate responses from the same company. All responses are confidential, and participants will remain anonymous.
