Energizing the Finance and Human Resources Relationship Webinar


Have you ever thought that CFO’s are from Mars and CHRO’s are from Venus? They speak a different language: financially focused vs employee focused. Each year renewals come around, HR gets the data from the broker and then tries to translate to finance. If it’s low, then it’s easy. If it’s high, then there is a lot of pressure to change something to keep costs flat. It’s all very reactive. CFO’s should understand what levers can be pulled, and when is a deal a good deal. Finance and HR should partner to develop a long-term sustainable strategy.

This session will:
  • help financial executives better understand the mechanism and cost drivers of health insurance;
  • show financial executives how to better partner with their HR teams;
  • share what aspects of benefit plans are most important for long term sustainability; and
  • communicate new and innovative products and strategies in order to drive better employee engagement and long-term cost savings.

For FEI CPE credits, one credit hour equals 50 minutes according to NASBA guidelines. Some states boards may differ on how many minutes constitute a credit hour.
