This session discusses cyber security risks and mitigation strategies to improve management’s security position. The session also discusses why this area has increasing risk and why it should be high on the board’s and internal auditor’s entity risk profile. Attendees will:

  • Gain insight into what auditors should consider in addressing cyber security risk.
  • Understand the increasing risk that third-parties present on management's processes.
  • Increase knowledge on how third-party assurance can be used to evaluate the impact on the internal control assessments.
