Plante Moran’s Working Relations Index® study measures the working relationships between the vehicle manufacturers and their supply bases.  While purchasing traditionally focuses on transaction efficiency and price competitiveness, companies pursuing strong relations with their supply chain benefit significant non-price benefits including product launch effectiveness, product liability and warranty risk reduction, and, generally, overall lower costs of doing business.  This session, based on 19-years of the study’s history, will cover lessons learned and improvement opportunities available to all companies.
