Event Agenda
4:00 -  4:30 p.m. - Networking
4:30 - 5:30 p.m. - Professional Development, "Rethinking the Workplace: Planning the future of how and where people work, while managing organizational effectiveness", presented by Michael Allenson, Associate Director in the Business Transformation practice of Protiviti.

We will discuss the new reality that many companies are facing today. Working remotely for most knowledge workers over the last year has been largely successful. Employees have found new ways to be productive and many have welcomed the lack of commute and other distractions that can limit productivity. Many organizations are implementing new workplace models that include the ability for employees to work some days in the office and some days remotely (a hybrid model). In some cases, employees are being allowed to work fully remote. Employees have come to expect that companies will offer some form of a hybrid model. We discuss the issues and considerations for developing and implementing a future workplace model, as well as the risks and potential pitfalls. We’ll share practical guidance on how to address key concerns.

Learning Objectives:
  • Discuss factors that should be considered when developing a future workplace model
  • Understand the roadblocks and risks of hybrid and remote working models
  • Share best practices of how other organizations are approaching the future of the workplace
