Mark Davis

Mark Davis is the National Managing Partner of Deloitte Private Enterprises. He recently served as the Managing Partner of Deloitte’s Jericho, Long Island location and the leader of Deloitte’s middle market audit practice on the East coast. Mr. Davis is an audit partner with over 30 years of accounting and auditing experience and has significant experience working with companies from varied industries including music, technology, media, health care providers, retailers and distributors. He also plays a leading role in Deloitte’s tri-state venture backed growth practice. Mr. Davis has guided many clients through IPOs, the registration statement process, and spin-offs/carve outs and acquisitions. In addition, he has a leading role in training individuals within Deloitte and speaking at firm-sponsored seminars on a host of cutting-edge accounting and technology industry issues. Mr. Davis has been a frequent speaker at NASDAQ and industry sponsored events on topics including, “The Key to Completing an IPO” and “How to Successfully Transition to a Public Company”. Mr. Davis has assisted nearly a dozen clients with their IPO process.

 

Mr. Davis currently serves on the Finance Committee and Board of Trustees of Winthrop University Hospital, as Chairman of the American Heart Association of Long Island, and on the Board of the Long Island Association. He recently completed an assignment as a member of the Board of Directors of The Institute of Management Accountants. He is also a member of the Finance Committee of The Mill River Club in Upper Brookville, NY and an Advisory Board Member for St. Dominic Elementary School in Oyster Bay, NY. Mr. Davis was previously a member of the Board of Directors of the Suffolk County Council-Boy Scouts of America, where he served in roles including Treasurer and Audit Committee Chair. Mr. Davis is also a founding member of the Executive Council of New York (formerly NY eCommerce Association).

 

Mr. Davis received the American Heart Association of Long Island’s Corporate Leadership Award in June 2017. He also received the Humanitarian of the Year award from ACIT in 2012, was honored by the SCO Family of Services in 2012, and was the Champion of the Long Island American Heart Association Walk-a-Thon in 2013. Mr. Davis was also honored as Adelphi’s “Accountant of the Year” and received a “40 Under 40” award from Long Island Business News.
