Sarah Ovuka

Sarah Ovuka is the External Reporting controller for Intel Corporation, where she manages the team that is responsible for the quarterly earnings, SEC reporting and other external facing reports working closing with Investor Relations, Legal and senior management.  Prior to joining Intel, she served as Financial Executives International’s (FEI’s) Professional Accounting Fellow.  Her primary role as Professional Accounting Fellow was to support FEI’s Committee on Corporate Reporting, FEI’s largest technical committee comprised of 45 Chief Accounting Officers, and Controllers of the Fortune 100+ companies.  During her time at FEI, she also provided oversight for accounting policy activities, advocacy, and thought leadership.  Prior to her fellowship with FEI, she served in EY’s Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS) practice where for five years she advised multinational corporations on financial reporting issues, including a focus on supporting companies managing through accounting change.  Prior to joining EY FAAS, she spent seven years in EY’s audit practice where she was responsible for managing numerous multinational audits across various industries.

Ms. Ovuka holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from James Madison University and is a Certified Public Accountant in both New York and Virginia
