W. Anderson (Andy) Bishop, CPA

W. ANDERSON (Andy) BISHOP, CPA, stepped down as CFO and Chief Accounting Officer of Hallador Energy Company after serving since 2009.  He currently is an SEC consultant to Hallador. From 1993 to March 2009, he was the Executive Vice President, CFO and 1/3 owner of the SEC Institute Inc., a private company in the business of training employees of private and public companies in the filing and reporting requirements of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.  While at the SEC Institute he had over 16,000 professionals attend his workshops and was considered the quintessential teacher of basic SEC reporting skills. During those 16 years, he also assisted Hallador in preparing their SEC filings. In July 2009, he sold his interest in such company.  Prior to the SEC Institute, he was the CFO of Hallador Petroleum (predecessor to Hallador Energy). From 1975 through 1990, he was with Price Waterhouse, predecessor to PricewaterhouseCoopers, in their Oklahoma City and Denver offices.  Mr. Bishop graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 1975.  He also served on the audit committee of SemGroup Energy Partners, L.P., now called Blueknight Energy Partners, L.P. (NASDAQ:BKEP) from July 2007 through July 2008.
