Sarah Digirolamo

Sarah is a senior manager in Deloitte’s Sustainability and ESG services group focusing primarily on the investment management, private equity, and real estate sectors, utilizing her strong reporting and assurance background to serve a variety of ESG and sustainability related engagements with a focus on SASB, GHG Protocol, IFC Principles, and SFDR.

 

Sarah has over 13 years of experience in Audit and Assurance serving clients, both public and private, in the financial services industry. Sarah has focused primarily on investment management, private equity and real estate clients, including broker/dealers and asset managers, REITs, depository institutions, insurance companies, and private equity funds under both US GAAP and IFRS.

 

Sarah has wide experience of evaluating the accounting impacts of complex accounting issues and financing transactions under both US GAAP and IFRS, the appropriateness of financial statement effective disclosures, and in implementing the standards of the PCAOB. She has experience leading engagement teams of large, public SEC registrants and managing the execution of complex, high-volume audits in a deadline-driven environment, as well as, serving as an engagement quality control reviewer for other large SEC/PCAOB engagements within the firm.

 

Sarah spent two years on secondment in London working in the Risk Advisory Global Capital Markets Group. The group focuses on accounting and advisory and specializes in complex accounting and auditing issues and SEC rules and regulations. During this time, she served some of the firm’s largest global clients with a focus on the European and Asian markets.

 

Sarah was also the recipient of the 2021 NICSA NOVA Emerging Leaders Award.
