In order to better understand the state of Finance in terms of their ability to consistently provide strategically useful information for critical business decisions, the Financial Executive Research Foundation (FERF), looks to two studies.

The 16th annual Gartner research, The 2014 Technology Issues for Financial Executives, highlighted how Finance organizations are taking a larger role in the direction and priorities of both the IT organization and strategic corporate performance management.

The second study was in direct response to the Gartner research to put focus on which technology capabilities and analytic tools are most useful. To do this, FERF and Planview conducted a five-question survey to examine:

  • What type of information Finance is capable of providing to the business,
  • What barriers exist that prevents Finance from providing better information, and
  • Which functions within the organization Finance partners with to provide information for critical business decisions.
In this 30-minute webinar, FERF’s senior director of research, Bill Sinnett, will walk through both studies in order to pinpoint recommendations as to how Finance can prioritize investments to achieve a higher standard of critical business decisions.

All registrants will receive the FERF executive research report that details the research, findings and recommendations – as soon as it becomes available. Register today!
